Don’t believe I’m going there without a proper invitation. It’s something I decided long ago when I was in school. I see what you see. I feel what you feel. No, I didn't forget about the playing field. Or the sideyard in the garden, where baseball games occurred. Or the one day, more than ten hours I played and I got sunburned. Yeah, I knew I was made out of gold even back then. Now you listen to me sing: Don’t believe in postcards and I don’t believe in Christmas. You never even asked me for the reason I left school. Well, call me a radical, but can I ask you for evidence? Something I’ve always wanted to say since the day that I quit school. Don’t believe in postcards and I Don’t believe in Christmas.
